Gossip Girl premiere (Season 3, episode 3×01!)

September is already here, and so is Gossip Girl! This Monday 14, at 9:00 pm,  we’ll finally have the first episode of this world-known series, “Reversals of Fortune”,  and of course here we have the latest photos and videos of this new season.

Seems summer has gone a little crazy for some of our loved characters… if not ask Serena, or even Chuck Bass… will his relationship with Blair Waldorf have lasted all this time? We will sure know about that in this first episodes of Gossip Girl!

And look at that! Seems Nate has got a new Girlfriend! Her name’s Bree, and even Nate’s dad knows who she is… is it so serious then? What about Vanessa?

Well, we’ll definetely see that next Monday on CWTV, and we’ll comment it here as soon as possible!

New Promos, New Seasons

Summer is coming to an end, and I’m deeply sure no ones that happy about it… but one of the good things about getting onto your routine is that we’ll have our favourite series back, with new seasons to let us get through this September!

This week I’m going to post several premieres about our most beloved series, such as Grey’s Anatomy, House, Gossip Girl, and lots more. It’s time to return to the use of following a pattern, the pattern of letting the best series of this time entertain us and let us wonder about their characters and its engaging plot.

But, who on earth could wait all this long summer without getting hooked on some sitcom? Well, I hadn’t seen this particular sitcom but I did hear a lot about it, and I just hadn’t had the chance to try it. I’m talking about How I Met Your Mother (Cómo conocí a vuestra madre), a really cool sitcom about a group of friends and, as the name says, how they met, as it pretends that we’re on 2030, and it’s Ted who talks about how he thought, in 2005, that he wanted to get a serious relationship after seeing his two friends, Marshall and Lily, get married after 9 years of going out, so he tells his kids the story about how he met their mother (although we still don’t know who that is).

This particular group is composed by the main couple, Marshall and Lily, Ted, who dates Robin, a Canadian girl who isn’t that into serious relationships, and (from my point of view), the funniest guy of the series, Barney, the typical guy who is always dating and ditching girls, and who also keeps making rules about dating and thinks that they apply to everyone.

I gotta say I’m just getting started with this sitcom, but it really makes you laugh, and I think it’s the perfect sitcom if you just want to relax and have a great time. There’s also a new application on Facebook that gives you one of Barney’s golden rules, but I’m not the one to advise whether to follow them or not!

Well, I gotta go, but as I said I’ll keep you posted on the new promos of this September 2009, commenting it and trying to keep this blog updated.

New Moon (Twilight)

Sorry for not writing in a while, everyone deserves some holidays, right? But here we are.. and not to talk about series, but to chat about the bestelling books from Stephenie Meyer, Twilight and New Moon. I’m already starting Eclipse, but as everyone is so exited about the New Moon movie, starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and my favourite, Taylor Lautner, that I thought I should let you know more about it…

In this amazing continuation of the book Twilight, Bella finds herself alone, as Edward has left her… for her own safety, but she doesn’t seem to notice that. As Bella goes trough a deep depresion without her love by her side, she starts feeling a bit better with the company of an old friend, Jacob Black. But soon she will discover that the Cullens are not the only family with a secret…  Bella finds out that Jake has transformed into a werewolf, and he and his friends (Sam, Quil, Paul… picture to the right) have a duty:  defend humans and protect them from… vampires. Due to that fact, as werewolves and vampires don’t get along, she will have serious dificulties to share her time with her real love and her best friend…

As I want to introduce all the main characters of this new film, I will go right to the end of the plot… where Alice and Bella have to go to the most frightening vampire city, Volterra, dominated by an antique family, the Volturis. Why do they have to travel to Italy and face the Volturis? Well, Alice had a vision of Bella falling down a cliff… and she thought Bella wanted to suicide. Afterwards, Edward went to Volterra to ask the Volturis.. if they would take away his life, or annoy them to the point that they felt the need to kill him. We will see Dakota Fanning starring as Jane, the young Vulturi vampire. Here’s a teaser from the film, showing Volterra and the moment when Bella and Alice enter the city to find Edward, before it’s too late. Sorry for the noise of the video, I guess there were lots of fans watching the scene at the moment!

The movie will be at the cinemas on November, so for those who cannot wait ’till then, like me, don’t panic! I will have you informed with new videos, photos and gossip about New Moon.

HipHop movies!

Hi people!

Today’s post is about one kind of movies that I adore, the ones that include dance and hiphop! I’m a big hiphop fan and I love dancing, so what a better subject to talk about!

I know the plot is always the same: hiphop girl from the streets loves dancing in crews but must enter elite dancing school to pay the rent or whatever… sometimes it may be the other way round, ballerina discovers hiphop world and loves it, and there’s always the cute guy who is their dancing partner, and ends up being her boyfriend, of course!

As much as the story may not be surprising, I just love to see all that moves, dances, amazing choreographies… and I love to see that hiphop and clasic dancing can be mixed, and that almost always happens in this films. So the other day I was seeking for this films with my best friend Laia (and also my dancing partner sometimes!:P) and I discovered some of this movies that I didn’t know existed!

One of them is Turn it up (Centre Stage), and although I haven’t seen it yet it’s on my DO list.

And well, talking about this kinda movies I found this one… it’s not the usual dance film, I assure you. It’s Scary Movie applied to hiphop: Dance Flick. Enthusiastics about cool dance movies may not like this that much, but it definetely will make you laugh.

And to sum up, I’m finishing with my favourite Tango EVER… it just makes you wanna be that good at dancing (and of course, have those partners…)

New Trekkies!

From what I’ve heard the latest Star Trek movie has definetely made an impresion. Lots of people are looking for the new cast of the 2009 movie, trailers and information about it… but the funny thing is that these people are not the once called “Trekkies”, who followed the Star Trek series, they are the new Trekkies! People who had never imagined they would like this kinda films are actually loving it (I include myself in this group!), and this video it’s a clear example of it:

So, after seeing the movie (ckeck my latest post about Star Trek),  I’ve made a little bit of investigation, and found stuff like this links that can ship you to the main Enterprise bridge (http://www.startrekmovie.com/panoramas/bridge2.html), or photos of the cast, but in diferent roles… For instance, Chris Pine is known for his role in The Princess Diaries 2; Zoe Saldana, who played in Guess who with Ashton Kutcher; Zachary Quinto, famously known by his role in the series Heores, or Eric Bana, slightly diferent in Troya than in Star Trek…

I think we should finally thank J.J Abrams for his latest success, and I should say I’m waiting to know what he creates on next Lost season!

Gossip Girl Photos!

I’m writing due to a common request… gossip girl photos! Blair, Nate, Serena, Chuck, Owen… But I’m not going to show you the usual pictures from the series… I think these photos are much more interesting

Look at that!! I know, she really looks alike, and she looked so cute! This is Meester Leighton, some years ago! She was born on 1986 and we’re now looking at her when she was… maybe 12 years old? And this is long before she became Blair Waldorf! 

Let me say this…. OMG!!!  Is this really him?? I mean, he looks so different now!! I think that now he looks almost like another famous actor,  Zac Efron! Well, that’s my point of view, but he definitely looks so childish in this picture!

Well, from my point of view she hasn’t changed that much at all! I think that the main difference is due to make up… But she was and still is a beautiful blonde girl with an astonishing smile… good for her! 

I love this picture! She looks so happy! I think that curly hair gives her more personality, but she looks cool either with curly or straight hair! And you’re gonna love the following one…

Hahaha! OMG!! why are these guys so amazingly different from their chilhood? It’s absolutely Dan, but my God… who on earth combed that hair!

I remember the first time I saw “Georgina” on tv… it was a sweet Disney film about a little girl who wanted to be an ice skating star! And she seemed so innocent… well, u can see it on the picture!

And last but not less important! Lily!! My gosh, that’s a change! She looked so 90’s style, and she still looks so young!

 

 

Well, I hope you have enjoyed these pictures.. They’re so funny! Next post I’ll try to talk about Owen, it seems that everybody is waiting for him to appear again… We’ll have to wait ’till season 3!

David Sides – finest piano player!

Hi buddies!

 

I’m just making a quick post… I’m in the middle of my university exams and I’m so snowed under! That’s why, and thanks to my dear friend Dani, I sometimes listen to instrumental music to relax… and I just found this amazing guy that plays in piano my favourite RnB music! I used to play the piano for over 10 years and I’m a big hiphop and RnB fan… no wonder I like his music!

I’m going back to study, but not before I show you why this guy has amazed me! I just want these music sheets so badly!:)

The season finale!

I apologize for the delay, but I’ve got so many things in mind! Season 2 of Gossip Girl is over, and here we are, celebrating Chuck’s 3 words (it wasn’t that difficult, wasn’t it?), almost about to know who Gossip Girl was (I gotta say she’s smart, whoever she is), and wondering… who is Serena’s Dad? Well, I’m going to show you!

Matt Barr, who also appeared in One Tree Hill, played Serena’s Dad on the episode “Valley Girls”. In the 80’s flashback, we see that this elitist, snob guy is actually Mr. Van deer Woodsen, eventhought Lily hates him in that episode. So what happened? Why did Lily marry this guy? I’m guessing that as she let Cece make her path, she also let her decide who she would marry… And if that happened, why is Serena looking for him, or why does she have to look for him in the first place? Did he abandon Lily, or is he in trouble? Well, either way, I’m sure we will discover it in the next season…

 

And our boys are gratuating! But they cannot celebrate it so easily, as Gossip Girl last blast leaves them petrified: Everyone gets a nickname that is going to stick forever:

 

Blair Waldorf: weakling

Nate Archivald: Class Whore

Chuck Bass: Coward

Dan Humprey: The insider

Serena Van der Woodsen: officially irrelevant.

 

As you may know they don’t feel comfortable with it but Serena is determinated to discover Gossip Girl identity… and we know who wins this little battle!

I think the “Poppy issue” has been left a little bit behind… ok, it’s over and everyone has their money back… but I wanted to know what Georgina did to arrange it all. And we’ll be seeing Georgina next season, I like that!

 

Anyway, I liked the way it ended (some of my friends even cried in the end!) and I’m waiting for the next season to come…

 

Presumably you’ll be hearing from me with Heroes in a few days. I’m still in season 3, but doing my best to finish it and chat about it here!
